01/24/2019 Monforte already has its first tourist guide with the most relevant information of the municipality. The document was presented this morning by the Mayor, José Tomé, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor, Gloria Prada. On the other hand, the local president announced a triptych on the city of Cabe: "these two documents offer a clear and concise information with the most important data about Monforte".
In this first edition, the City Council of Monforte printed 10,000 copies of the tourist guide (5,000 in Spanish, 2,500 in Galician and another 2,500 in English). On the other hand, another 10,000 copies of the triptych were published, also in this three languages.
Those interested in having these documents can purchase them at the Municipal Tourism Office, in the bookstores and in the restaurants that want to distribute it. The guide will cost 1 euro and the triptych will be free.
More demanding tourism
"Tourism in our region is experiencing a very important growth, Monforte, as the capital of the Ribeira Sacra, needed to have a graphic and informative document to spread our cultural and landscape richness," said the Mayor.
José Tomé regretted that "Monforte didn´t have a tourist guide." When we arrived at the Government, we found that there was no material to promote our City Council, and for this reason, we decided to elaborate some documents that allow us to spread our landscape cultural and monumental riches ".
José Tomé advanced that, later, Monforte City Council will produce a promotional video that contains the different events hosted by the city of Cabe throughout the year. On the other hand, "it will gather our gastronomy, our culture, our landscape and our monuments".
Both the tourist guide and the triptych were prepared by a local company, Amanita Studio.
