Without a doubt, this is the most prominent museum in the city due to the enormous value of the collection it keeps and which is considered one of the most important in Spain. The convent was founded in the 17th century by the VII Counts of Lemos, who donated their private collection made up of Spanish and Italian works. Currently, the cloistered nuns of the Order of the Discalced Franciscans live in the convent.
