07/28/2023 On Friday, August 4th, a new edition of Artelemos begins on Cardenal street. The craft exhibition organized by the City Council as a prelude to the Patron Saint Festivities will have 30 stalls in this XXIII edition. The sample time will be 10:00 h. 2:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. between August 4th and 9th.
Artelemos has the will to bring local and Galician crafts closer to the public, while offering artisans a way of presenting themselves and transferring their work to the public, creating a direct relationship between artisan and consumer that contributes to value handmade pieces.
The different stands will show a wide variety of craft disciplines: Gundivós pottery, leather, basketry, fashion accessories, leather goods, wood and slate, ceramics, decorative objects, jewelry, miniatures, glass crafts, toys and puppets among other proposals. Artelemos offers an unbeatable opportunity to find unique and high-quality pieces.
The exhibition is completed with demonstrations in which to see the artisans work live, which will take place from 12 to 2 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. and workshops at 12 to 7 p.m. for which it is necessary to register with a minimum of one hour in advance at the City Council stand in the exhibition space.
